Amanda Okafor

Provisional Psychologist

Hi there and welcome! My name is Amanda and I am a Nigerian Canadian with a deep love for all forms of art. As a dancer, movement has always been healing and allowed me to occupy space, offering stories that transcend cultural differences. Today, my stories are not only through movement, but through chapters of growth, learning, and within spaces where I can support individuals journeying through life's challenges.

Therapy with me is collaborative and centered on honouring the unique experiences of every person I see. As a client of mine, you matter and so do your rights, which means that you decide how we go on this journey together. As I have learned, an artist cultivates experiences by discovering their unique gifts and talents. As a therapist, I am dedicated to helping my clients do the same, while also building a genuine and supportive connection.
