Chioma Elizabeth James

Registered Social Worker

Hi, I’m Chioma Elizabeth James, a registered social worker (RSW), with a master’s

degree in clinical social work and post graduate certificate in military social work. I am

dedicated to helping individuals, and couples navigate life’s challenges.

I specialize in self esteem and self worth, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life

transitions, trauma and group therapy with focus on depression. I work with adults,

children, and teens, military and veterans using a strengths-based, trauma-informed

approach that blends cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, narrative,

psychoeducation, emotionally focused, acceptance and commitment, motivational

interviewing and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT).

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and

empowered. Therapy with me is collaborative—we’ll work together to set meaningful

goals and explore patterns that no longer serve you.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change, I’m here to support
